PROJECTS

Overview:

This section pretends to expose some ideas which have born inside a friends's circle who share our interest in electronics. At present, it's a short list (at least, that of made things), but it will grow up (someday, I expect).

Next considerations are highly important for our projects.

LOW COST: We're not rich. Then, ours development founds are very low.

SIMPLE = BETTER: In a specific problem, the simplest solution has more success's possibilities. It also traduce as cheap solutions, almost ever.

ROBUSTNESS: It's bether build things to soport abuse. Then, you will not have to lament your work's destruction under snoops or inopportune accidents.

MODULARITY: Modular systems are more robust, easy to fix, simple bugs's detection. And, if it's split corrretly, easy enhancement of modules is allowed, without affect the whole thing function.

SCALABILITY: It's better to build something thinking about future enhancements, without it must start again from scratch.

JERRY AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle):

Description:

Experimental vehicle controled trough a HEWLETT PACKARD HP48G/GX personal calculator by means of its incorporated infrared communications's port, which use IRDA protocol.

SP3DUS:

Description:

3 Dimensional Positionment System by means of UltraSound signals. Controled trough the PC parallel port.
